Guilherme Varella Horn is a third degree black belt under Tony Eduardo. He started training when he was only 9 years old, influenced by the great Royce Gracie and immediately started to participate in competitions. He has had the honor to train and stay in Helio Gracie’s house in Teresópolis at the age of 14. Guilherme was promoted to black belt when he was 23 years old.

In 2013, he was commissioned to work for the Abu Dhabi Educational Council, in the United Arab Emirates, teaching jiu jitsu for the government in public schools, military academies and for the Presidential Guard of Abu Dhabi, under H.H Sheik Mohamed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, having received the award of the best extra-curricular program in 2013 and 2014.

Mr. Horn has trained with several legends of MMA and jiu jitsu such as Ricardo Arona, Bruno Frazatto, Ricardo Liborio, Adilson Bitta, Leandro Lo and many others.
He has had a brief stint in Vale Tudo, making two professional fights and being victorious in both of them. Guilherme has recently found his passion in firearms training and became an instructor of one of the best schools in the country, Clube .38.

Nowadays his work is focused on self-defense and unarmed combat.
